When life throws you lemons, make lemonade! This is the motto Lara has been living by her entire life.

Even when she lost her vision completely, she never stopped being enthusiastic about the world. She embraced everything and everyone around her with paws wide open.
Sadly, she got returned by her adoptive families twice in a short period of time. But, even that didn’t stop her from hoping that one day, someone would see how amazing she truly was.

And, as it turned out, that someone was her foster dad!

I Remember You, Dad

Brian and Alex, long-time fosters with Priceless Pets Rescue, from California, gave a temporary home to Lara before she embarked on her forever home journey. At that time, she had severe infection, which resulted in her losing both of her eyes.

As a special-needs pup, Lara had difficulties adapting to new circumstances. She was shy and reserved, and definitely needed time to acclimate to a new environment.
Fortunately, within only a few weeks, she warmed up to her new family and transformed into the sweetest lovebug!

Since then, she had two adoption fails, which resulted in Lara being returned to the shelter – one more time! When Brian heard about her unfortunate situation, he immediately rushed into action.

He and Alex decided to give their sweet foster a permanent home without thinking twice.

“We fostered Lara for a few months. After two failed adoptions, she became a permanent member of the family,” her parents wrote on Instagram.
