Miranda Lambert Flood Recovery Fund Donates Over $300K to Animal Shelters

The Miranda Lambert flood recovery effort is making a major impact after devastating floods struck several states. Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation, in partnership with Tractor Supply, has donated over $300,000 to support animal shelters in Texas, New Mexico, and New Jersey.

The foundation has donated over $300,000 through its Relief for Rescues Fund. This money supports more than 20 shelters and rescue organizations across Texas, New Mexico, and New Jersey.

Texas Native Miranda Lambert Speaks Out About the Flood’s Emotional Toll

“Texas is my home state and the tragedy that took so many lives – and forever changed so many others – left me without words to express my heartbreak. All I knew was that I wanted to help,” Lambert said. “I’m grateful that our MuttNation-Tractor Supply Relief For Rescues Fund could quickly jump into action. We started the Fund so we could immediately respond to the needs of animal shelters and rescues after a natural disaster, and it’s always incredible to see it in action during times like this. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to make that possible.”

Tractor Supply, home to MuttNation’s merchandise, also donated to animals displaced by the devastating floods, saying they were committed to help during this difficult time.

Country Stars Join Miranda Lambert in Texas Flood Recovery Efforts

Country artists are leading the charge to help Texas recover from the flood. Texas natives Robert Earl Keen and George Strait announced future benefit concerts to support their home state.

Country artist Josh Weathers hosted a virtual benefit concert just days after the flood that helped raise over $430K for relief efforts.

Chris and Morgane Stapleton donated $1 million toward flood relief efforts through their charitable fund, Outlaw State of Kind. They donated to various local and national organizations, including Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation.

Lambert co-founded her MuttNation Foundation with her mom, Bev, in 2009. The organization helps animals in need, especially after natural disasters.

On July 5, Lambert said that MuttNation was working with Kerrville Pets Alive to learn more about their needs and help animals affected by the floods.

She added, “But I know more than anything that Texans help Texans. I’m working on more things to come, hopefully next week [I’ll] announce some things I’m trying to do to help.”
