After spending her life in awful living conditions, suffering abuse from every hooman she came across, the puppy you are about to meet had no idea how to act when she met somebody who was finally willing to help.

After learning about her heartbreaking story, a team of rescuers immediately set out for her location with a plan to rescue her.

They offered her owner a sum of money in exchange for the puppy, which the owner gladly accepted. The rescuers were then led to her cramped, dirty cage in which this poor girl was trying to hide, now knowing that her life was about to change forever.

Life Worth Living

As soon as they had her in their care, the rescuers took this little pup to the local vet clinic.

Her entire body was covered in deep ulcerated and infected wounds, which were hidden beneath her dirty, matted fur.

This meant that the vet staff had to give her a much-needed haircut and shower before they could assess her painful wounds.

After her bubble bath, her wounds were cleaned and bandaged up. She also underwent some tests and was put on medication, which is going to help her feel as good as new in no time.

As the staff waited for her test results, they tried to make her as comfortable as possible since she was going to be at the clinic for a while.

Some Hard News

When her test results came back, the vet team learned that her condition was quite serious.

Her X-rays showed that a part of her brain was completely missing, and replacing it were some fluids. The staff assumed that this was probably due to some serious trauma caused by a powerful impact on her head.

The vets put her on some more medication, hoping that they would help regenerate the cerebral cortex.

Because of her previous life, the pup wasn’t really used to love and affection so she spent most of her time confined in a small kennel.

With time, however, this sweet girl understood that things were different now and that she was surrounded by hoomans who cared about her.

After finding out what a pet felt like, she couldn’t get enough of them!
