Brittany Mahomes has sparked controversy by liking one of Donald Trump’s posts on Instagram.

Fans are convinced this could signal the end of her friendship with Taylor Swift. Brittany has become close friends with Taylor Swift over the past year. This friendship developed during Swift’s romance with Travis Kelce, who plays alongside Brittany’s husband Patrick. The pair attended several NFL games together last season.

After Mahomes’ controversial like was discovered this week, many believe Swift might end her friendship with her. Swift, a known liberal, publicly accused Trump of ‘stoking white supremacy’ in 2020.

Swift ripped into the former President while endorsing Joe Biden back in 2020, even vowing to ‘vote him out’ of the White House four years ago.

Trump has snapped back at her on frequent occasions while even weighing in on her high-profile romance with Kelce.

‘I wish the best for both of them. I hope they enjoy their life, maybe together, maybe not — most likely not,’ he said during an interview with the Daily Caller.

This followed a Washington Post opinion piece stating, “If anyone should be worried about Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce, it’s Trump.”

On Thursday, CBS’ Gayle King claimed Kelce contacted Vice President Kamala Harris about the Democratic National Convention.

Amid the liberal outrage over her like on Trump’s post, Brittany fired back at her ‘haters’ in a fiery statement on Instagram Friday night.

Eagle-eyed users spotted the soon-to-be mother of three liking a post about 16 of Trump’s policies, covering topics from immigration to the economy.

‘I mean honestly, to be a hater as an adult you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,’ she wrote on her story.

‘There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.’

The Chiefs are set to begin their quest for a third straight Super Bowl against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead on Thursday, September 5. This could be the night of Brittany and Taylor’s potentially awkward reunion in Kansas City.

In addition to attending NFL games together, the pair have enjoyed several nights out and trips with their partners. They have also spent time with a girl group that includes Blake Lively, Selena Gomez, and Sophie Turner.
