Taylor Swift donates $250 to families in need before Kansas City Chiefs game
Taylor Swift has made a generous gesture by donating $250 (€230) to the non-profit organization ‘Operation Breakthrough,’ which helps children and families in poverty, before attending the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium.
The organization publicly thanked the singer for the donation, sharing an emotional video on social media where the children of the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude.
“Thank you, Taylor Swift, for making our holiday season even brighter!” the organization wrote in its tweets.
Swift, who has often shown her generosity throughout the year, has previously donated to food banks and visited patients in hospitals, writes Dailymail.
This time, her help was directed towards the Kansas City community, where she has publicly supported her partner, Travis Kelce, in his matches.
This was the first Chiefs game Swift attended after wrapping up her successful Eras tour on December 8.
At the stadium, she looked stylish in a red fur jacket and black boots, accompanied by her parents.
Meanwhile, news of a surprise party thrown by Kelce to mark the end of her tour has fueled speculation of a possible engagement.
The celebrations included lavish gifts and personalized jewellery, while pictures shared by their friends sparked numerous comments on social media.
