Taylor Swift Fan Message Revealed by Lip Readers During Eras Show

Taylor Swift fans were delighted when one of their fellow Swifties decoded something she said during a concert by lipreading.

A video of Swift performing during the European leg of her Eras Tour concerts was shared to social media and showed the singer addressing someone in the crowd.

“Do I know you? From the last show?” Swift is interpreted as saying as she smiles and turns around.

It was shared to fan account, The Eras Tour, on X, formerly Twitter, with the caption: “Taylor Swift recognizing fan in the crowd at ‘The Eras Tour’!”

That account had reposted it from another account, @rohandbatc, who mentioned it was from another account but no one could verify the original poster.

But on the video, along with subtitles with what Swift said to the audience member, was the caption: “Imagine getting recognized by THE Taylor Swift.”

Fans replied to The Eras Tour account with disbelief and awe that she had recognized the fan.

“I would have lost my breath and gone flat right away if this happened to me over there,” wrote @vijisai_.

“OH HOW LUCKY THEY AREEEEEE,” added @wszayn.

Lip readers have previously decoded Swift’s chat during her record-breaking Eras world tour.

Most recently, the pop star performed in the Scottish capital Edinburgh in early June. During the performance, she was spotted whispering to one of her back-up dancers.

In a video shared by The Eras Tour to X, the 34-year-old is seen in a lavender dress and matching faux-fur coat. She wore this outfit for her performance of the 2022 song “Lavender Haze.”

Towards the end of the song, Swift’s backup dancers help to remove the jacket, ahead of the next song. But in the video, Swift was spotted saying something to one of the dancers.

The fan account suggested Swift said, “Oh, I wanna keep it.” She was referring to the coat because of the near-freezing conditions she had performed in.

During her three-night run in Edinburgh, temperatures averaged about 45 degrees Fahrenheit, according to AccuWeather.

Clocking in at three-and-a-half hours, Swift’s Eras Tour is the highest-grossing live music tour in history. This achievement came long before reaching the halfway point of its 152-show run.
