Over the past year, communities have been planning America250 celebrations, with the July 4 observance of Independence Day to be even more spirited than usual.
For those who will be in Los Angeles, California, as the nation celebrates 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, there’s a concert event perfect for the day’s festivities.
On July 4, the city of Los Angeles will host “America’s Block Party benefiting Giving 4th,” which will be headlined by country artist Chris Stapleton.
Chris Stapleton Concert To Celebrate The 4th As Artists Are Dropping Out Of Patriotic Shows Elsewhere
For the past nine years, Chris Stapleton has been on his All-American Road Show Tour, which began in May of 2017.
Further, the artist has a highly celebrated Super Bowl performance of the National Anthem from 2023, contributing to why he’s a perfect fit for a concert like this.
In addition to Stapleton, the band Smashing Pumpkins will also take the stage, with Queen Latifah hosting the event… and, of course, there will be fireworks.
This concert comes as President Donald Trump has had to repeatedly address artists dropping out of performing at the Great American State Fair in Washington, D.C., which runs from June 24 to July 10.
Responding to the artists dropping out of the Great American State Fair, Trump has repeatedly described them as having “no talent.”
Unlike the event Chris Stapleton will be performing at, which is sponsored by America250, the Great American State Fair is being put on by an organization called Freedom 250.

Chris Stapleton’s July 4 Concert Kicks Off New Tradition Of Giving
Called “America’s Block Party benefiting Giving 4th,” the concert event in Los Angeles with Chris Stapleton is set to start a new tradition on July 4.
Every year, Americans celebrate the nation’s independence with fireworks, but what if there was a way to add a charitable component to the holiday?
That’s where Giving 4th comes in, with all of the proceeds from each ticket purchased for the concert going to Feeding America, which the America250 website notes is “the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization.”
Admission to “America’s Block Party benefiting Giving 4th” is $17.76, a nod to the year the Declaration of Independence was signed.
Veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders have the opportunity to attend the event for free, with 5,000 complimentary tickets being offered to eligible individuals.
By going to VetTix, America250 says veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders can request their tickets for free.

“America’s Block Party benefiting Giving 4th” will be at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on July 4, with gates opening at 3 p.m. before the show kicks off at 6 p.m.
