Taylor Swift Says Fans Made Her Eras Tour a ‘Wonderful Experience’ as It Nears Its Final Show: ‘I Never Wanted It to End’
Taylor Swift is wrapping up her Eras Tour with gratitude for her Swifties.
During the second night of her Vancouver tour stop at BC Place Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 7, the 14-time Grammy winner showed love to her fans for making her concert series what it has become.
“This tour has been the most fun, exciting, and powerful thanks to how you’ve embraced it,” Swift said, per fan footage on X.
“There’s a reason why this is my longest tour I’ve ever done. “I’ve never played this many shows on a tour because I never wanted it to end—thanks to the amazing experience you’ve created for us,” she said.
“You’ve got all your traditions that you’ve created. “I wrote one line about friendship bracelets, and now you’ve made them synonymous with the Eras Tour—trading, making friends, and sharing the magic,” she said. That’s a pretty wild thing you can do — and that’s just one of the things,” added Swift.
Swift embarked on her record-breaking Eras Tour in March 2023 in Arizona with a three-hour setlist packed with songs from her entire discography.
Since then, she has performed in dozens of cities across five continents — and keeps the show fresh.
Swift has performed secret songs on guitar and piano at each show to include tracks beyond her massive setlist.
Her final weekend of the Eras Tour comes days after Swift has topped several streaming lists. Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music crowned her 2024’s top artist, with The Tortured Poets Department as the top album.
Swift takes the stage for the final time on her Eras Tour on Sunday, Dec. 8 in Vancouver.
