Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were married on July 3 in a ceremony held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The wedding caps a romance that began in the summer of 2023 and became one of the most closely watched relationships in popular culture. Swift’s representative confirmed details of the ceremony to PEOPLE, offering a rare glimpse into a day the couple had kept tightly under wraps since announcing their engagement nearly a year earlier.
The Ceremony
Both Swift and Kelce wore custom looks created by Christian Dior Haute Couture, designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in what the brand describes as Anderson’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and Swift wore Cartier jewelry.
In place of a traditional wedding party, Swift’s brother Austin Swift served as her Man of Honor, while Kelce’s brother Jason Kelce stood as Best Man. Actor and comedian Adam Sandler reportedly officiated the ceremony. Country music was well represented among the guests, with Brad Paisley, Kelsea Ballerini, and Miranda Lambert among those in attendance.
When the couple emerged from the venue, the jumbotrons outside Madison Square Garden lit up with the message “JUST&T MARRIED!”
How It Started
Swift and Kelce’s relationship traces back to the summer of 2023, when the Kansas City Chiefs tight end attended Swift’s Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium. Kelce later admitted on his New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast that he was disappointed he never got to meet her after the show. Swift eventually heard those comments, and by September 2023 she was spotted at a Chiefs game — the public’s first signal that something had developed between them.
The couple announced their engagement on August 26, 2025, sharing a series of photos on Instagram with the caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
With the wedding now confirmed, fans who spent months speculating about when — and where — the couple would marry finally have their answer.
