Audrey McGraw delivered a show-stopping tribute to her mother Faith Hill during her opening set at Tim McGraw’s concert on Friday, July 24, performing Hill’s 2002 power ballad “Stronger” before her father’s crowd.
The 24-year-old — the youngest daughter of one of country music’s most celebrated couples — took on one of Hill’s most vocally demanding recordings, a track from Hill’s Cry album, and met the challenge with emotional high notes and full-throated vocal runs. McGraw is herself an emerging artist who has shared stages with her father and opened a 2025 tour for Brandi Carlile.

McGraw posted a clip of the performance to Instagram alongside a heartfelt message to both her parents. “I don’t have words to express the honor I feel to sing my mama’s song last night, and for it to be at dad’s show,” she wrote. “To be your daughter is an infinite gift. I love y’all so much, I am always so proud and so inspired by you. Thank you for sharing this crazy life with us. Proud to be a road dawg forever.”

Faith Hill’s Quiet Step Back
For many fans, Audrey’s rendition served as a rare opportunity to hear “Stronger” performed live. Faith Hill has never formally announced a retirement, but she has gradually withdrawn from public life in recent years. Her last studio release was The Rest of Our Life, a 2017 joint album with Tim McGraw, and the two toured together the following year. Hill and McGraw also co-starred in the Yellowstone prequel series 1883 in 2021, around which time Hill indicated plans to release new music — plans that never came to fruition. In 2024, she quietly deleted all of her social media accounts without explanation.
Tim McGraw, meanwhile, remains active on the road, and two of the couple’s three daughters are building entertainment careers of their own — Audrey in music and 29-year-old Gracie McGraw in both singing and acting.
