Brantley Gilbert Confronts Security For Not Responding Properly To A Fan Who Fainted
Brantley Gilbert recently took the stage at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino in North Carolina.
However, during the show, a medical emergency occurred when a woman in the audience fainted while the country/rock star was performing his song “Son Of The Dirty South.”
In a video captured by a person in the crowd, Gilbert is seen quickly reacting as soon as he notices what’s happening.
While still singing, Gilbert did his best to check on the woman and make sure she was okay.
He also used hand gestures to ask the crowd around her to give her some space.
Even though it was a medical issue that needed professional attention, Gilbert seemed to be the only one taking action.
Right after the incident, he called out a nearby security guard for not stepping in to help the fan who had fainted.
“Hey, dawg, let me explain something to you,” Gilbert said in his mic for everyone to hear. “I hate to embarrass you, but it don’t do you no good to stand here with a uniform on if you ain’t going to do sh-t. Go on somewhere. Bye.”
He then turned his attention back to the crowd, asking if everyone was having a good time.
But, still clearly frustrated by the lack of urgency from security, Gilbert brought up the issue again, making it clear that he wasn’t happy with how it had been handled.
“Got 10,000 people in security shirts and just gonna f—in’ stand there,” he says.

In the video’s comment section, several people who attended the show spoke up in support of Gilbert, agreeing with him.
“My husband and I were there and Brantley was pissed. He truly cares about his fans,” a fan wrote.
“Of course, security isn’t EMT… but they can clear the area for EMT’s to get in there or escort her to the EMT’s! BG didn’t do anything wrong,” another said.
“That’s an awesome guy right there telling like it is,” said someone else.
