Hannah Harper, the Season 24 winner of American Idol, has purchased her own tour bus as her post-competition career accelerates into a packed summer schedule.
Harper announced the acquisition while documenting a weekend run that carried her through Missouri, Kentucky, and Georgia before she returned home to the Show-Me State. The milestone arrives as she prepares for a combination of headlining dates on her own String Cheese Tour and opening slots alongside some of country music’s most recognizable names.
Life on the Road
Harper shared the news with fans as she settled into touring life, noting she had already covered more than 1,700 miles over a single weekend. She credited Roberts Brothers Coach for getting the vehicle road-ready, writing in part: “A huge thank you to @robertsbrotherscoach for taking such incredible care of us and making sure every inch of this bus is road ready. We couldn’t do this without y’all.”
The renovation went well beyond a standard cleaning. The company replaced all mattresses and bedding, deep-cleaned the entire coach, and converted the back lounge into a dedicated bedroom — a setup designed to keep Harper’s husband and their three young sons comfortable while she’s on the road.
A Family Operation
Getting the bus ready was itself a family affair. While Harper packed supplies for the trip, her parents drove to Nashville to retrieve the coach. She joked to fans that her “nanny and bus driver” were, in fact, her mom and dad.
“We are officially out on tour, and my heart is so full,” she wrote, adding that she was excited to be on the bus with her crew.
The purchase marks another rapid step forward for Harper since claiming the American Idol title earlier this year. Coming up on her calendar are a performance at the Mid American Bash on July 3 and a return to the Grand Ole Opry on July 17 — a follow-up to her already-noted debut on that stage. Later in the year, she is set to join Lauren Alaina and Brad Paisley for select tour dates. Harper also told fans that a full tour of the new bus is “coming soon.”
