Riley Green unveiled “Imagine That,” a steel-guitar-driven ballad about a man willing to swallow his pride for one last shot at love, alongside the full tracklist for his forthcoming album That’s Just Me.
Green released the song on July 31, pairing it with the complete 19-track lineup for That’s Just Me. The double announcement gave fans their clearest look yet at the scope of the project, which features collaborations with Brooks & Dunn, Randy Owen of Alabama, Jake Worthington, and Hannah McFarland.
A Late-Night Plea at the Front Door
The narrative of “Imagine That” follows a man who phones his ex late at night, lays out his feelings without reservation, and — in the song’s closing reveal — turns out to be standing right outside her door. Green co-wrote the track with Ray Fulcher and Jonathan Singleton. Anchored by traditional production and prominent steel guitar, the song sits sonically close to previous Green material like “I Wish Grandpas Never Died.”

“Imagine That” is the fifth track on That’s Just Me. Green had already previewed the album’s opening track before the July 31 announcement. “My Way” surfaced earlier through the television series Marshals, in which Green also appeared as an actor.
With the tracklist now public and multiple singles already in circulation, listeners have a firm sense of what to expect from That’s Just Me — a record that stretches across traditional country sounds and notable collaborative moments.
