Jason Aldean revealed during a recent radio appearance that his oldest daughter, Keeley, secretly wed roughly a year ago — news the country star had kept out of the public eye until now.
Aldean made the disclosure while co-hosting Country Countdown USA alongside Lon Helton. The singer confirmed that Keeley, 23, had both graduated from college and gotten married, with the wedding taking place privately and without any public announcement. Though Aldean offered few specifics about the ceremony or Keeley’s husband, her Instagram profile — which is set to private — displays a photo of her in a wedding dress and lists her last name as Chastain.
Grandchildren? Not So Fast
When Helton pressed Aldean on whether he was prepared for the next milestone — becoming a grandfather — the artist pushed back with some candor. “I told her to pump the brakes on that,” Aldean said. “Don’t be in a hurry. More for my sake, I think. But it’ll happen when the time’s right.” He declined to share the location of the wedding or any further details about his new son-in-law.
A Full House on the Road
Aldean also offered a broader update on his four children. Kendyl, 18, is preparing to head off to college in the coming months. His two youngest, Memphis, 8, and Navy, 7 — whom he shares with wife Brittany, married in 2015 in a beachfront ceremony in Cancun, Mexico — have been traveling with him on tour this year. Aldean noted the road is nothing new for them, saying the two have been on the bus since they were two weeks old and now navigate backstage on their own.
He also gave an unexpected shoutout to artist Stella Lefty, admitting his youngest two have been singing her music around the house. “That’s how you know you have a hit — when 7- and 8-year-olds are singing it,” he said.
Aldean’s Songs About Us Tour is set to kick off July 18 in Bangor, Maine, giving fans plenty of opportunities to catch the artist live as he steps into this new chapter of family life.
