Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have finalized their divorce, closing the chapter on a decade-long marriage that had captivated country music fans since news of the split broke earlier this year.
Court documents obtained by TMZ confirm the former couple — born Jason DeFord and Alisa DeFord, respectively — reached a settlement earlier this month. The “Save Me” singer and podcast host had kept much of the process out of the public eye, but newly available filings shed light on how the two agreed to divide their lives going forward.
Settlement Terms
Under the agreement, Jelly Roll will make a single confidential lump sum payment to Bunnie Xo in lieu of any ongoing alimony obligations, meaning neither party can pursue spousal support from the other in the future. The couple will also split a range of shared assets, including multiple homes, vehicles, an aircraft, and their intellectual property holdings. The specific dollar figures involved have not been disclosed publicly.
The Road to the Split
Jelly Roll filed for divorce on May 18, citing irreconcilable differences. The filing remained private until June, when it became public. Shortly after the news broke, the singer addressed fans directly from the stage at a concert in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., describing Bunnie Xo as his best friend and the woman he will always love. He also firmly denied any infidelity, telling the crowd that neither party had cheated.
Before Jelly Roll made those public remarks, Bunnie Xo spoke on her Dumb Blonde podcast and said she anticipated the divorce would be finalized within a matter of weeks. She also disclosed that despite the end of the marriage, the two still planned to have a child together. Jelly Roll is already a father to daughter Bailee, 18, and son Noah, 9, from prior relationships.
With the legal process now concluded, attention will likely turn to how both Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo move forward — personally and professionally — as two of country music’s most closely watched public figures.
