Billy Ray Cyrus has released the official music video for “It’s Alright,” a newly remixed version of the single featuring America’s Got Talent finalist Steve Ray Ladson.
The video premiered on Friday, July 31, and was shot at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire, England. Ladson, whose music draws from Southern soul, blues, and country traditions, appears alongside Cyrus on what the label is calling “It’s Alright” Mix 2. For Cyrus, the release represents something bigger than a single — a signal that his creative life has genuinely shifted.

The production was handled by Cyrus’s record label Billion Streams and a London-based production team, but his girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley played a central role, serving as both producer and director on the video. Her son Damian Hurley is credited as assistant director. Cyrus also noted a more personal contribution from Elizabeth — she customized the conchos on his jeans while the two were traveling to shows in Oklahoma and Texas. Those performances took place at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa and Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth.
The Broader Comeback Behind the Song
“It’s Alright” follows The Hill, Cyrus’s first album of original material in more than a decade. His son Braison Cyrus produced and co-wrote much of the record, and daughter Noah Cyrus appears on the duet “On Our Way Along.” The album arrived amid considerable personal change for Cyrus, including his relationship with Hurley, renewed family connections, and a rebuilt sense of confidence as a recording artist.
