Zac Brown set an all-time record on Celebrity Family Feud, scoring 195 points in the Fast Money round — the highest single-player score in the show’s history.
The Zac Brown Band frontman appeared on the July 30 episode of ABC’s Celebrity Family Feud alongside his wife, jewelry designer Kendra Scott, competing as a team against country singer Mickey Guyton and her family. Both celebrity squads were playing on behalf of charitable causes: Brown’s team represented Camp Southern Ground, while Guyton’s family competed for Equal Access.
Brown’s Team Advances to Fast Money
After working through several rounds of competition against Team Guyton, Brown and Scott’s group secured a spot in the game’s final challenge: the Fast Money round. The format splits the two teammates up — one answers five survey questions on stage in 20 seconds while the other waits backstage, unable to see or hear anything. The second player then returns and has 25 seconds to answer the same five questions without duplicating any of their partner’s responses. Reaching a combined total of 200 points wins the cash prize for the team’s charity, a threshold that host Steve Harvey has called notoriously difficult to hit.
A Record-Breaking Performance
Brown went first, fielding questions that included naming a dangerous animal requiring a trainer on a movie set, something a person might be holding on their birthday, how often someone buys a new cell phone, a part of the body people shave, and the worst thing to lose a key to. When his answers were scored, Harvey was visibly stunned. Brown had accumulated 195 points — entirely on his own.
“That’s the highest score ever. Ever. EVER,” Harvey told Brown on stage.
When Scott returned from backstage unaware of her husband’s performance, Harvey summed it up simply: “He got 195 points.” Before she began her turn, Harvey offered additional context for the studio audience: “I’ve been doing this 17 years. This is crazy.” After Scott answered just two questions, the team surpassed the 200-point threshold and the round was over. Harvey then addressed the crowd with a final assessment of what they had witnessed: “He gave all number one answers. All of them. I’ve never seen that before.”
With the record now officially on the books, the moment adds an unexpected footnote to Brown’s career — and hands Camp Southern Ground a winning payday in the process.
