Ashley McBryde Is Opening A Mocktail Bar In Nashville
Ashley McBryde is leading the change on Nashville’s Broadway by making non-alcoholic options more accessible with her new bar.
On Friday, August 1, McBryde announced she will be the next country artist to open a bar on Nashville’s famous Broadway.
But her new spot, called Redemption, is going to be unlike anything else in the area.
The “Light On in the Kitchen” singer is introducing a non-alcoholic bar and music venue, which will be located inside Eric Church’s Chief’s.
Redemption Bar will feature a zero-proof cocktail menu, with each drink name inspired by song lyrics.
Even though McBryde’s focus is to create a fun space for those who don’t drink, the menu will also include alcoholic options so nobody is singled out.
“It was vital that I create a space where not drinking is the forethought – normalized,” she told Rolling Stone. “You can get alcohol drinks in Redemption too, because everyone is welcome.”
She continued, “When the chance to make my mark on Broadway came, I knew what I wanted. I wanted to create a space that champions what has made a difference in my life.” A space that lifts up the brushed aside and makes sure everyone feels welcome.”
McBryde’s new bar also features an open space for up-and-coming singers and songwriters.
Most Broadway bars focus on cover songs, but Redemption lets artists perform their own original music.

About Ashley McBryde’s Sobriety Journey
A few months ago, Ashley McBryde revealed that she had reached three years of sobriety.
Although she decided to stop drinking in 2022 as part of a personal journey to better herself, she chose to keep it private until she hit the one-year mark.
“All people are gonna do is just wait for you to screw up, and that’s really annoying. I did it for me. I didn’t do it for social media,” she said in 2023.
McBryde said she quit alcohol after realizing how much it was taking over her life.
“Maybe part of being the ‘whiskey-drinking badass’ is knowing when to set it down, knowing when it’s costing you too much,” she said. “This had become too costly, and I’m not willing to trade this — what I do, what I love — for anything.”
Ashley McBryde’s Nashville bar will open its doors on August 28.
