Greg Biffle memorial service details are now available following the tragic plane crash that claimed the lives of the former NASCAR driver and six others. As a result, the public memorial will honor Greg Biffle, his family members, and the additional victims who died on December 18.

Public Memorial Service Announced for Greg Biffle and Plane Crash Victims

Organizers have finalized plans for a public memorial service honoring Greg Biffle and six others after a fatal plane crash in North Carolina.

On December 18 at around 10:20 AM, a Cessna C550 jet crashed at Statesville Regional Airport. At that time, authorities chose not to release the names of those on board.

Later, however, the victims’ families stepped forward and confirmed the identities of those who lost their lives.

Greg Biffle and Family Among Those Killed

The family statement confirmed that Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, their son Ryder, and Greg’s daughter Emma died in the crash.

In addition, the statement identified the remaining victims as Craig Wadsworth, Dennis Dutton, and Jack Dutton.

To help with funeral expenses, supporters have established a GoFundMe campaign for Craig Wadsworth’s family.

Greg Biffle Memorial Service Date, Time, and Location

According to reporting from The Charlotte Observer, the Greg Biffle memorial service will take place on Friday, January 16.

The service will occur at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina.

  • Doors open: 10:00 AM
  • The public is welcome to attend

As a result, fans, friends, and members of the NASCAR community will have an opportunity to pay their respects.

Meanwhile, Greg Biffle’s close friend Cleetus McFarland, whose real name is Lawrence Garrett Mitchell, shared additional details in a YouTube video.

He explained that the memorial service will last a couple of hours.

After the service, McFarland will host a ceremonial event titled “Burnout for Biff.”

The tribute will run from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in downtown Mooresville. Like the memorial, the event will remain open to the public.

Shortly before the memorial announcement, Cavin Cook Funeral Home published Greg Biffle’s obituary.

The obituary highlights his accomplishments as a NASCAR driver while also focusing on his passions beyond racing.

It further reflects his devotion to family, stating that “He loved his children and wife without limit.”

In addition, the obituary emphasizes his lifelong commitment to helping others.

“Greg was a dedicated philanthropist,” the obituary reads. “He cared for animal welfare, creating the Greg Biffle Foundation to provide grants to humane societies across the country… To many, he was a hero.”

Those who wish to honor Greg Biffle’s memory may donate to the Red Cross or Lake Norman Humane.
