Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were married on Saturday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, bringing together one of the most-watched romances in recent pop culture history in a ceremony attended by a notable contingent of country music’s biggest names.
The couple’s relationship traces back to July 2023, when Kelce attended one of Swift’s Eras Tour concerts and later revealed on his New Heights podcast that he had hoped to give her a friendship bracelet bearing his phone number — a gesture he never got to make. Swift acknowledged the story publicly, and the pair made their relationship official that fall, with Swift appearing at a Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2023 and the two being spotted together leaving a Saturday Night Live after-party in October of that year. Kelce proposed in August 2025, and the wedding followed roughly a year later over the July Fourth holiday weekend.
Ceremony Details
While the couple kept most specifics under wraps ahead of the day, a representative for Swift confirmed key details to PEOPLE. Both Swift and Kelce wore custom looks from Christian Dior Haute Couture, designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections — marking Anderson’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and Swift wore Cartier jewelry. Rather than a traditional wedding party, Swift’s brother Austin Swift served as her Man of Honor, while Travis’s brother Jason Kelce stood as Best Man. Actor and comedian Adam Sandler officiated. After the ceremony, jumbotrons outside Madison Square Garden lit up with the message “JUST&T MARRIED!”
Country Music’s Guest List
Miranda Lambert attended alongside her husband Brendan, even sharing video footage from what appeared to be a party bus en route to the venue.
Kelsea Ballerini arrived solo in an olive green gown. The two artists have maintained a close friendship over the years, with Ballerini previously sharing that Swift refers to her as “little sis.”
Brad Paisley attended with his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley. The couple publicly thanked Swift and Kelce for a donation to The Store, their Nashville-based grocery nonprofit, made ahead of the wedding.
Maren Morris also attended solo, posting photos from the event alongside Ballerini. Morris shared a souvenir from the wedding day that referenced Swift’s song “Blank Space.”
Little Big Town was well represented, with married bandmates Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook attending alongside bandmate Phillip Sweet and his wife Rebecca Arthur. The group’s connection to Swift runs deep — she wrote their hit “Better Man,” which appeared on their 2016 album The Breaker.
With country music so prominently woven into Swift’s origins and ongoing relationships within the genre, the Nashville contingent at Madison Square Garden served as a vivid reminder of how deeply her ties to that world remain.
