Demi Moore and Ali Larter are walking into Landman Season 3 with dramatically larger paychecks, as newly revealed salary figures show sweeping pay increases across much of the Paramount+ drama’s cast.
According to Deadline, the raises take effect heading into the show’s third season, which was greenlit on the strength of Season 2’s viewership numbers — over nine million people streamed the season premiere, and more than 14 million tuned in for the finale. Season 2 wrapped production in January, though no premiere date for Season 3 has been announced. Billy Bob Thornton, who stars as Tommy Norris and was signed to a four-season contract, is not part of the renegotiation; his per-episode pay sits between $740,000 and $770,000.
Moore and Larter Lead the Increases
Moore’s new salary is reported to be comparable to Thornton’s, a significant jump that reflects her expanded presence on the show. After a limited role in Season 1, she became a central figure in Season 2 as CEO of M-Tex Oil. Her character’s arc ended on a dramatic note — she authorized a drilling operation in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Louisiana, a move Tommy Norris considered too risky, ultimately resulting in his firing.
Larter, who plays Tommy’s wife Angela Norris, will earn at or above $350,000 per episode in Season 3, a figure that more than doubles her Season 2 rate. Though Angela holds no formal position at the oil company, her dynamic with Tommy shapes key decisions throughout the series.
Broader Raises Across the Cast
The pay increases extend well beyond the two leading women. Jacob Lofland and Michelle Randolph, who play the Norris children Cooper and Ainsley, will now earn between $130,000 and $180,000 per episode — roughly double their previous rate. The actors portraying Ariana, Rebecca, Dale, and Sheriff Walt Joeberg are also reported to be receiving similar doublings of their salaries.
Season 2 also brought two notable additions to the ensemble: Sam Elliott and Andy Garcia joined the cast, and both appear set to return for Season 3. With the full cast locked in at elevated rates and strong viewership momentum behind the show, the next chapter of Landman arrives with considerable expectations.
