Morgan Wallen had another unexpected moment on stage over the weekend, and this one has fans debating exactly what happened.
During his Friday night show at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Wallen was caught on video grabbing a cellphone and launching it across the stage while performing.
The moment quickly made the rounds online, leaving plenty of fans confused.
Phone Toss Goes Viral
In a TikTok video, a security guard is seen holding up a cellphone while Wallen performs near the front of the stage.

At first, Wallen appears to gesture toward the phone before walking away.
Moments later, however, he turns around, takes the phone from the guard’s hand, and throws it across the stage.
The clip immediately sparked speculation online about what exactly led to the interaction.
There May Be More to the Story
According to TikTok user jcroo419, who posted the video, the phone may not have belonged to the security guard at all.

The user claimed a fan had handed the phone to the guard in hopes of getting it to Wallen. “Morgan launched it,” the user wrote alongside the clip. “I get it… security should be doing security things, but….”
As of now, Wallen has not publicly addressed the incident.

The cellphone toss comes just days after Wallen went viral for a different onstage incident during a show in Denver.
While performing “Sand in My Boots,” his piano reportedly malfunctioned, forcing him to finish part of the song without it.
Afterward, Wallen returned to the instrument, shoved it, and ultimately flipped it over on stage.
He later poked fun at the moment in a TikTok video, joking that his replacement piano was working properly.
Meanwhile, Wallen’s scheduled Saturday night show in Pittsburgh was canceled due to weather concerns, something he later addressed directly after rumors began circulating online.
“I’ve been seeing a lot of nonsense about me that is simply not true,” Wallen said in an Instagram video, explaining that local officials had advised his team to cancel because of strong winds and safety concerns surrounding the stage setup.
